I give you here several variations to adapt this cucumber juice recipe to your own taste. And the best thing, no juicer is required. So go ahead and enjoy this great way to get your vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

- Fine mesh sieve (optional)
Ingredients
- 8 English cucumbers
- 1 cup of lemon juice, or ½ cup of lime juice
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- Honey, sugar, or agave syrup
- 4 cups of ice
- Fruit to garnish

Preparation
Before starting, please make sure you have all the ingredients and utensils ready.
Step 1: Blend
Mix cucumbers, lemon or lime juice, and apple and blend until it's completely liquified.
Pass through a mesh strainer and discard solids.
Step 2: Serve
Add sugar or sweetener to taste. Pour into 4 glasses and add ice. You can also return it to the blender to crush the ice or make it a slush.
Garnish with fruit.
Top tips
- If you don't mind the pulp, you don't need to strain it.
- If you can only find standard cucumber, peel them and discard the seeds.
Variations
You can use a combination of pineapple juice and lemon juice. It's lovely.
You can decorate with lime slices, starfruit slices, or orange slices. Or whatever you have at hand.
Add a few fresh mint leaves for a different and very refreshing taste.

English cucumber vs standard cucumber
English cucumber has thinner skin, milder flavor, and soft and fewer seeds. Standard cucumbers are larger but have harder seeds and a more bitter taste.
Do you peel cucumber before juicing?
If you use English cucumbers, I do not think it is necessary to peel them. Standard cucumbers, however, have a more bitter skin, so I suggest you peel them.

This taste great I loved it. Crazy thing is I made fewer trips to the bathroom to pee. My bladder was happy and for once I felt hydrated no dry mouth. Will definitely be doing this much more.
