Homemade Beef Broth Recipe

[0.9 kg] any type would do

garlic
cut into halves

red onion
halved

cilantro

sprigs
parsley
optional

springs
fresh oregano
(or 2 teaspoons of dry ground oregano)

tablespoon
allspice berries
½
tablespoon
peppercorns
1
lime
or lemon (opcional)
Instructions
1. Browning bones
In a large pot heat the
oil
over medium-high heat.
Brown the
beef
being careful that it does not burn.
2. Adding herbs and spices
Reduce the heat and add ½ gl [2 l] of
water
.
Add the
garlic
,
onion
,
cilantro
,
parsley
, chili pepper, pepper, and oregano. Add the juice of the
lime
.
3. Simmering
Cook over low heat for three hours.
Once the three hours have passed, remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
3. Sieving
Sieve with a fine-mesh sieve and remove the solids.
4. Storing
Divide into one-cup portions and refrigerate or freeze.
