Beet Carrot Juice [Video+Recipe] w. Lime and Orange

1. Peel beets

  • Using a potato peeler, peel the beets.
    ⚠️ Use the oranges for something else; we will only be using the peel.

2. Chop

  • Chop the beet and carrot into small pieces.
    Rinse the beet and carrot pieces in potable water. Discard the water.
    Rinsing beets and carrots for beet carrot juice.

3. Blend

  • Place the carrot and beet in the blender vase and add 1 quart [1 liter] of potable water.
    Blend until over medium speed for 3 minutes.

4. Sieve

  • Strain through a fine strainer or clean cheese cloth, pressing to squeeze as much juice as possible

5. Add juices

  • Add the juice of the limes and oranges (strain to keep the seeds out).
    Stir to mix.
    Squeezing lime into beet carrot juice.

6. Serving

  • Serve chilled.
