Dragon Fruit Juice [Video+Recipe]

- 4 red dragon fruits or another color [700 grams], plus a few wedges for garnish
- 4 thin slices fresh ginger
- ¼ cup lemon juice [120 milliliters] or ⅓ cup [80 milliliters] lime juice
- ¼ cup brown sugar or agave syrup, or to taste
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 cups ice
Instructions
1. Peeling and chopping dragonfruit
- To cut the pitahaya into cubes, cut it in half, and cut the flesh in one direction and then in the opposite direction without piercing the skin.Use a spoon to remove the flesh, which will end up cut into cubes.⚠️ Place the fruit on a cutting board and never cut it while holding it in your hand to avoid accidents.
2. Blending
- In the blender jar, combine dragon fruit, ginger, lemon juice, sugar (or preferred sweetener), and cold water.Blend until everything is well dissolved.
3. Serving
- Add the ice to 4 glasses and serve. You can also return to the blender to crush the ice and turn it into a slush.Garnish with fruit.
