Instructions
Brown bacon
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and once heated add the bacon to it.Cook stirring until the edges are browned (3-5 minutes).
Cook onion
Stir in the onion and cook stirring over medium heat until the onion turns translucent (about 2 minutes).
Cook cabbage
Stir in the cabbage and sauté until it is heated through (about 1 minute).Pour in the vinegar, salt, and sugar and cook stirring for another minute. The cabbage should be slightly wilted but still have some bite to it.Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve at room temperature. Put extra vinegar on the table for those who prefer it more sour.
