– 8 ounces mild Cheddar cheese diced [0.23 kilo] – ½ cup of cream cheese at room temperature – 8 ounces York ham diced and at room temperature [0.23 kilo] – A sprig of fresh dill – ½ cup of butter at room temperature divided – 8 slices of white bread – 4 small thinly sliced English cucumbers

Pulse until it turns into a smooth paste. In the food processor bowl, combine Cheddar, cream cheese, ham, dill, and two-thirds of the butter.

Step 1:

Spread the cheese paste evenly on one side of each bread slice. Layer half the cucumber slices between slices of bread (with the cream cheese spread facing the cucumbers). Butter the top of the sandwich, and place the remaining cucumber slices on top.Pat the cucumber slices with paper towels to absorb excess liquid.

Step 2:

Serve chilled.Place the sandwiches on a tray, wrap them in plastic film, and chill for an hour or until it's time to serve.Once it's time to serve, carefully cut the crust and cut each sandwich into 4 triangles or cubes.
